The Santo Foundation was established in 2009 to recognize and assist the careers of individual visual artists. The goals of the Foundation are to provide artists individual grants, travel stipends and subsidized studio space. The Santo Foundation Call for Entry 2011 is for two $3500.00 individual artists grants.
This year’s distinguished juror for their 2011 Call for Entry is Peter Doroshenko, Executive Director of the Dallas Museum of Contemporary Art. Mr. Doroshenko is an internationally respected curator, director and writer.
Artists are to submit 10 jpegs of their work and a current resume. All mediums of visual art eligible. CAFE (link to entry) does not support video/performance but 10 stills of the work are acceptable.
Undergraduate and Graduate School candidates are eligible as well as mid-career artists. This is an international call and all artists are welcome to apply regardless of country, state, etc.
The Santo Foundation is a public charity.
